To be prepared for our journey through Russia and Siberia, we started our interim project "Surviving the Arctic Winter" in winter 2020/2021.
In the far north of Sweden, we are braving the inhuman temperatures of up to -35 °C while upgrading our expedition vehicle.
To do this, we have a small, run-down cottage at our disposal, which we have to renovate and make winter-proof so that we can then operate from here. Two and a half metres of snow, hardly any daylight and a lack of language skills are just some of the challenges we have to overcome here.
