mvg-Verlag was founded in 1965 by Wolfgang Dummer as a practical publisher of advice and life assistance. The strengths of mvg-Verlag at that time were mainly in the production of so-called subliminals (audio cassettes) with successful authors such as Nikolaus B. Enkelmann and Kurt Tepperwein as well as in a well-assorted paperback program on the topics of psychology, spirituality, esotericism, love, sexuality and partnership. By the turn of the millennium, mvg had developed into one of the leading publishers of guidebooks and Lebenshilfe in Germany. The publishing portfolio includes books on communication, motivation, partnership, personality development and Train your Brain. Our first book on body diagnosis and holistic healing methods was also published in 2013 by mvg-Verlag under the title "Krankheiten auf einen Blick erkennen" (Recognizing Diseases at a Glance). The books of the publishing house have been published worldwide in 40 languages. To date a total of 1100 international licenses have been granted.
