Leo Köhler GmbH was founded in Poppenhausen in 1927. From then until today, Rima produces under its own name workwear and uniforms, which in the beginning mainly included work and protective suits and uniforms. At the end of the fifties, field clothing for the German Army soldiers was added. For some years now, the range has also included a collection for work, leisure and hobby. For many years the Bundeswehr was one of the largest and at the same time most demanding customers. This is one of the reasons why so much emphasis is still placed on quality and good workmanship. Leo Köhler initially produced in Poppenhausen, but in 1978 opened a factory in Malta with 160 employees. Since 1988, everything is now manufactured in his own factory in Tunisia. The family business is now managed by the third generation. The current managing director is Andreas Koch-Bleichrodt.
