Bikeline

Bikeline

The publishing house Esterbauer was founded in the middle of the 80s from a Viennese bicycle initiative, which made up for initial problems with increased commitment and idealism. Already since 1987 the publishing house successfully concentrated on the production of bikeline bike tour books and bikeline bike maps. Since the Esterbauer-Verlag does not just publish its books, but also collects and writes them itself, a lot of experience could be gained over the years, which is passed on to the readers through the books.
Thanks to the great success, the proven concept was transferred to other product lines. These include the bikeline MountainBikeGuides and, since 2008, the new hiking guide series Hikeline.
Today, the publishing house presents itself in its overall programme with more than 400 bikeline and Hikeline titles on the most interesting cycling and hiking regions in Europe, with a focus on Germany and Austria.
